BvR electronic GmbH is committed to making its website www.bvrelectronic.de accessible in line with the recognised standards for digital accessibility. The basis is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

Compliance status

This website is largely compliant with the standards mentioned. Due to individual exceptions listed below, it is partially non-compliant.

In an automated test (Google Lighthouse, “Accessibility” category) the home page and the sub-pages tested achieve a score of 100 out of 100. In addition, manual checks of keyboard operation, screen reader output, colour contrast and page structure were carried out.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not (yet) fully accessible for the reasons stated:

1. Embedded third-party content

Components provided by external services – such as the cookie/consent dialog (CCM19) or the map service (Google Maps) on the contact page – are outside our direct control and may in individual cases not be fully accessible. Directions are additionally described as text on the contact page.

2. PDF documents

Some documents offered for download (e.g. certificates, data sheets) were created by third parties and are not always available as accessible PDFs. On request we will gladly provide the content in an accessible form.

Accessibility tool

An assistance tool is available on all pages (icon at the bottom right of the screen). It allows you to adjust individually:

Font size (enlarge/reduce)
High contrast
Dark mode
Reading mask
Highlighting of links

The settings are stored exclusively locally in the browser; no tracking takes place.

In addition, the website supports keyboard operation (navigation and drop-down menus via Tab/Enter/Esc), a “Skip to content” link, a logical heading structure, alternative text for images, sufficiently large click targets and labelled controls and form fields for screen readers.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared in October 2026. The assessment is based on a self-assessment using automated testing tools (including Google Lighthouse) and manual tests. The technical implementation was carried out by Gehring Media.
